THE PARTY NIGHT EXPERTS
The Coustics are a professional 5 piece band or duo that have been playing together for almost 20 years. They are based in Lytham St.Annes but have played all over the U.K & Europe.
Specialising in Wedding’s & Christmas Party nights, the Coustics have performed at all the major universities, hotels, summer/winter balls, nightclubs, music festivals and corporate functions all over the United Kingdom.
Inspired by many, they play the music of the following artists,
the Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, the Fratellis, the Kaiser Chiefs, Queen, the Jam, the Killers, Oasis, the Who, Bryan Adams, Kings of Leon, the Beatles
plus many more from the 60’s to present day.
The Coustics have twice been nominated at the Blackpool Entertainments Awards night held at the Winter Gardens for the best live band and have performed at quite few venues over the years along side various artists including
a sold out tour with Gerry& the Pacemakers and The Searchers in 1993, playing to 40 sold out shows including the London Palladium, the Hammersmith Apollo, the Liverpool Empire & the Preston Guildhall.
In 1994 they appeared live on ITV’s This Morning with Richard & Judy performing as part of a tribute to the Beatles. Then later that year they played a private after show party for Sir Paul McCartney held in Liverpool, during his UK tour.
From 1995 to 2000 the Coustics headlined the annual Matthew Street Music Festival in Liverpool, playing to many thousands every year.
In 2006 they were invited to perform at a private function at Le manoir Oxfordshire for the Manchester United players and families.
During 2008 they released their debut album of original songs called ‘long story short’ with Sony music & went on to sign a major publishing deal.
Since 2007 they have continued to headline the sell out B’festival in Cumbria.
